Fouad Chehab

Fouad Chehab was a Lebanese army commander and president from 1958 to 1964. His presidency expanded state institutions and public services through reforms known as Chehabism.

Chehabism: A Lebanese political approach associated with Fouad Chehab’s state-building, administrative reform, and social development policies. The name given to the reform program and governing legacy linked to his presidency.
