Frances Fox Piven

Frances Fox Piven is an American sociologist and political scientist whose research examines poverty, social welfare policy, voter registration, and social movements.

Richard Cloward: Richard Cloward was an American sociologist who studied poverty and welfare policy and collaborated with Frances Fox Piven. Their partnership produced influential arguments about welfare access and disruptive protest.
