Frank Borman

Frank Borman was an American astronaut and U.S. Air Force officer who commanded Apollo 8, the first crewed mission to orbit the Moon.

James Lovell: James Lovell was an American astronaut who flew on Gemini 7, Apollo 8, and Apollo 13. Lovell shared Apollo 8 with Borman and William Anders as its lunar-orbit crew.
Apollo 8: Apollo 8 was the first crewed spacecraft mission to orbit the Moon, flying in December 1968. Borman commanded the mission that carried humans into lunar orbit for the first time.
