Frank Zappa

Frank Zappa was an American musician, composer, and bandleader whose work joined experimental rock, complex composition, and satire. He led the Mothers of Invention and maintained unusual control over recording and performance.

The Mothers of Invention: An American rock band formed in 1964 and led by Frank Zappa, known for experimental music and satirical lyrics. Zappa’s principal band gave his early compositions their distinctive ensemble sound.
