Freestyle skateboarding

Freestyle skateboarding is a discipline centered on flat-ground tricks and choreographed routines, sometimes performed to music. Its flowing sequences emphasize board control, balance, and footwork.

Flatground skateboarding: Skateboarding performed on level ground without ramps or other major obstacles. Freestyle develops tricks and linked sequences on this basic terrain.
Kickflip: A skateboard trick in which the board completes one full rotation along its long axis beneath the rider. Its airborne rotation contrasts with the close-to-ground board spins common in classic freestyle.
