Frogfish

Frogfish are marine anglerfishes in the family Antennariidae. Their compact bodies, camouflage, and movable lures help them ambush prey.

Illicium: The modified first dorsal-fin spine that forms an anglerfish's fishing rod. It supports the lure frogfish wave above their mouths to attract prey.
Antennariidae: A family of marine anglerfishes commonly called frogfishes. This is the family that contains frogfish species.
