Game Boy is Nintendo’s line of handheld video game consoles, launched in 1989 with a portable system that played interchangeable cartridges.

Game Boy cartridge: A removable ROM cartridge that stores a Game Boy game and plugs into the console. Cartridges let one handheld system play many different games.
Game Boy Color: A 1998 Game Boy model that added a color screen and could run most original Game Boy games. It extended the platform while preserving compatibility with the original cartridge library.
Tetris: A tile-matching puzzle video game created by Alexey Pajitnov in 1984. Bundled with the original Game Boy in many markets, it helped demonstrate the appeal of portable play.
