Garfield Barwick

Sir Garfield Barwick (1903–1997) was an Australian barrister, politician, and chief justice of the High Court of Australia from 1964 to 1981.

Robert Menzies: Robert Menzies was Australia’s longest-serving prime minister, holding office from 1939 to 1941 and 1949 to 1966. Menzies appointed Barwick to the High Court in 1964 after serving with him in government.
