Gaumont

Gaumont is a French film production and distribution company founded in 1895. It is among the world’s oldest surviving film companies.

Léon Gaumont: Léon Gaumont was a French engineer and businessman who founded the company that bears his name. His camera and phonograph business became the foundation for Gaumont’s film enterprise.
