Gekkonidae

Gekkonidae is a family of lizards commonly called geckos. Many species have adhesive toe pads, and the family includes a wide range of forms and habitats.

Squamata: The reptile order that includes lizards and snakes. Gekkonidae is one of the many lizard families within this order.
