Geoffrey Burbidge

Geoffrey Burbidge (1925–2010) was a British-American astrophysicist who helped develop the theory that stars produce many of the chemical elements.

Margaret Burbidge: Margaret Burbidge was an observational astronomer whose research helped establish how stars produce chemical elements. His wife and scientific collaborator, she led the stellar observations underlying their nucleosynthesis work.
