Gherman Titov

Gherman Titov was a Soviet cosmonaut who became the second human to orbit Earth and the first to spend a full day in space, aboard Vostok 2 in 1961.

Vostok 2: Vostok 2 was the Soviet spacecraft that carried Gherman Titov on a 25-hour orbital flight in 1961. It was the vehicle in which Titov completed his record-setting first day in space.
