Giro d'Italia

The Giro d'Italia is an annual men's professional road-cycling stage race held mainly in Italy. Its overall winner is the rider with the lowest cumulative time across the stages.

Grand Tour (cycling): A three-week stage race in road cycling, comprising the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, or Vuelta a España. The Giro is one of road cycling's three Grand Tours.
Maglia rosa: The pink jersey worn by the leader of the Giro d'Italia's general classification. It marks the rider leading the race's overall ranking.
