Gloria Grahame

Gloria Grahame (1923–1981) was an American film and stage actress known for her performances in film noir and Hollywood dramas, including In a Lonely Place, The Bad and the Beautiful, and The Big Heat.

In a Lonely Place: A 1950 film noir directed by Nicholas Ray, starring Humphrey Bogart as a screenwriter suspected of murder. Grahame plays Laurel Gray, whose relationship with Bogart’s character becomes the film’s emotional center.
