Go Nagai

Go Nagai is a Japanese manga artist and writer whose works include Mazinger Z, Devilman, and Cutie Honey. His manga helped shape modern superhero, mecha, and horror storytelling.

Mazinger Z: A manga and anime series about a pilot who controls a giant robot built by his grandfather. This 1972 series made Nagai’s piloted giant robot a landmark of mecha fiction.
Ken Ishikawa: A Japanese manga artist and writer known for co-creating Getter Robo with Go Nagai. Their collaboration produced a defining combining-robot franchise.
