Gonzo journalism

Gonzo journalism is reporting in which the journalist participates in events and makes personal experience, voice, and perspective part of the account.

New Journalism: A 1960s and 1970s movement that used literary techniques and immersive reporting in nonfiction. Gonzo journalism is a more openly subjective strand of this broader movement.
