Tense : A grammatical category that locates a situation in time relative to a reference point, usually the moment of speaking. Tense locates an event in time; aspect presents its temporal shape.
Aspectual class : A classification of predicates by their inherent event structure, commonly distinguishing states, activities, accomplishments, and achievements. Predicate class constrains which aspectual interpretations a form readily supports.
