Grape (fruit)

A small, round or oval berry that grows in clusters on a vine. Grapes are eaten fresh or processed into wine, juice, and raisins.

Vitis: A genus of woody vines that includes cultivated grapes and their wild relatives. The grape berry grows on vines belonging to this genus.
Wine: An alcoholic beverage made by fermenting grape juice or other fruit juice. Wine is a major product of grapes, especially varieties grown for fermentation.
Grapevine: A climbing or trailing woody plant in the genus Vitis that bears grapes. Its flowering shoots develop into the clusters that carry grape berries.
Currant (fruit): A small berry produced by plants in the genus Ribes. Currants resemble small grapes but come from a different plant genus.
