Knowra Gregory of Nazianzus Gregory of Nazianzus Gregory of Nazianzus (c. 329–390) was a bishop, theologian, and poet who defended Nicene Christianity. He is remembered as one of the Cappadocian Fathers and for his teaching on the Trinity.
