Guinea-Bissau War of Independence

An armed struggle from 1963 to 1974 in which the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde fought Portuguese rule in Guinea-Bissau.

African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde: A political and military organization that led the struggle for independence in Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde. Its guerrilla forces organized the armed campaign against Portuguese rule.
