Knowra Gyeonggi Province Gyeonggi Province Gyeonggi Province is a province surrounding Seoul in northwestern South Korea. It contains much of the Seoul Capital Area and includes both major cities and rural districts.
Seoul Capital Area : South Korea’s largest metropolitan region, centered on Seoul and extending into Gyeonggi Province and Incheon. Gyeonggi forms most of the land area surrounding the capital within this metropolitan region.
Pangyo Techno Valley : A technology and research business district in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. It exemplifies the province’s role as a major center for technology companies.
Gyeonggi (historical region) : A historic region around the capital of Korea, whose name and boundaries changed across dynasties. The modern province inherits a name and capital-centered role from this older region.
Seoul Special City : South Korea’s capital, administered as a special city with province-level status. Unlike Seoul, Gyeonggi is a province with many separately governed cities and counties.
