Gymnastics all-around

Gymnastics all-around is a competition in which an athlete’s scores on multiple apparatus are combined into one total. It can be contested by individuals or teams, depending on the event format.

Code of Points: The rulebook that defines gymnastics skills, difficulty values, execution deductions, and judging procedures. It sets how each apparatus routine contributes to an all-around score.
Artistic gymnastics: A gymnastics discipline featuring choreographed routines on apparatus, with distinct men's and women's events. The best-known all-around format belongs to artistic gymnastics.
Gymnastics team competition: A gymnastics contest in which athletes' scores contribute to a team result. Team totals combine selected routines, unlike an individual all-around total.
