Haiku

Haiku is a short poetic form that developed from Japanese verse and is known internationally through adaptations, often organized around three lines and a 5–7–5 syllable pattern.

Kireji: A Japanese cutting word that marks a pause or rhetorical turn in traditional haiku. Its cut creates the juxtaposition or pause that gives many haiku their structure.
