Hanyang

Hanyang was the capital of the Joseon dynasty, established in 1394 at the site of present-day Seoul and known today as Seoul.

Joseon dynasty: A Korean dynasty that ruled from 1392 to 1897. Joseon founded Hanyang as its capital in 1394.
Bukhansan: A mountain north of central Seoul, within Bukhansan National Park. Its ridges formed a northern natural boundary for the capital.
