Harry Benjamin

Harry Benjamin (1885–1986) was a German-American endocrinologist and sexologist who pioneered medical care for transgender people, especially through hormone treatment and clinical advocacy.

Magnus Hirschfeld: Magnus Hirschfeld was a German physician and sexologist who founded the Institute for Sexual Science in Berlin. Hirschfeld introduced Benjamin to sexology and provided an early model for clinical work on gender variance.
