Heavyweight

Heavyweight is a boxing division for fighters above a governing body’s lower weight threshold, with no upper weight limit. Its threshold varies between professional and amateur rules.

Professional boxing: A form of boxing in which fighters compete for payment under professional rules and sanctioning bodies. Professional organizations set heavyweight thresholds and sanction championship bouts.
Cruiserweight: A professional boxing division below heavyweight, with an upper weight limit set by its governing rules. Its ceiling separates most cruiserweights from heavyweight competitors.
