Hebrew literature comprises literary works composed in Hebrew, from biblical and rabbinic writing to modern poetry, fiction, drama, and essays.

Hebrew Bible: A collection of ancient Hebrew writings forming the Jewish scriptural canon and part of the Christian Old Testament. Its poetry, narratives, and prophetic books are foundational works in Hebrew literary history.
Biblical Hebrew: The ancient form of Hebrew used chiefly in the books of the Hebrew Bible. Its grammar and vocabulary remain an enduring resource for later writers.
