Heng Samrin

Heng Samrin is a Cambodian communist politician and former Khmer Rouge commander who defected to Vietnam in 1978 and became president of the Vietnam-backed People’s Republic of Kampuchea.

Hun Sen: Hun Sen is a Cambodian politician who served as prime minister from 1985 to 2023. He rose alongside Heng Samrin in the Vietnamese-backed government and later became Cambodia’s dominant leader.
