Henri de Baillet-Latour

Henri de Baillet-Latour (1876–1942) was a Belgian aristocrat and sports administrator who served as president of the International Olympic Committee from 1925 until his death.

Pierre de Coubertin: A French educator and historian who founded the modern Olympic movement and served as the IOC’s second president. Coubertin selected Baillet-Latour as his successor in the IOC presidency.
1928 Summer Olympics: The Summer Olympic Games held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 17 May to 12 August 1928. These were the first Summer Games held during Baillet-Latour’s IOC presidency.
