Henri La Fontaine

Henri La Fontaine (1854–1943) was a Belgian lawyer, socialist politician, and pacifist who won the 1913 Nobel Peace Prize for promoting international arbitration and peace.

Paul Otlet: Belgian bibliographer and documentalist who co-founded the International Institute of Bibliography with Henri La Fontaine. Their partnership joined peace activism to an ambitious project for organizing worldwide knowledge.
