Henry the Young King

Henry the Young King (1155–1183) was the eldest surviving son of Henry II of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine. Crowned in 1170, he held the title of king but never ruled independently.

Henry II of England: Henry II ruled England from 1154 to 1189 and built an empire spanning much of western France. His father crowned him but retained control of the kingdom.
