Knowra Hieronymus Cock Hieronymus Cock Hieronymus Cock (c. 1510–1570) was a Flemish printmaker and publisher who founded Antwerp’s influential print-publishing house Aux Quatre Vents. He issued prints after leading artists, helping circulate their designs across Europe.
Aux Quatre Vents : The Antwerp print-publishing house founded by Hieronymus Cock, whose name means “At the Four Winds.” Cock used this workshop and publishing house to issue prints for European markets.
Volckxken Diericx : A sixteenth-century Antwerp print publisher who continued Aux Quatre Vents after Hieronymus Cock’s death. Cock’s widow maintained the publishing house and its business after 1570.
