Hippopotamus

Hippopotamus is a genus of large, semiaquatic mammals native to sub-Saharan Africa. Its living species are the common hippopotamus and the pygmy hippopotamus.

Common hippopotamus: Hippopotamus amphibius is a large, semiaquatic African mammal and the largest living member of the genus. This is the genus’s much larger and more familiar living species.
