History of Balochistan

The history of Balochistan traces the peoples, states, and political changes of a region spanning parts of present-day Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan.

Mehrgarh: A Neolithic and Chalcolithic archaeological site in Balochistan, occupied from about 7000 BCE. Its early farming communities document settled life in the region millennia before recorded states.
