Homeric epics

The Iliad and the Odyssey are ancient Greek poems associated with Homer. They recount the Trojan War and Odysseus’s return home in a traditional poetic language and style.

Iliad: An ancient Greek epic poem about a conflict between Achilles and Agamemnon during the Trojan War. It is the poem’s war-centered counterpart to the Odyssey’s account of a homecoming.
