Horemheb

Horemheb was an Egyptian pharaoh who ruled near the end of the Eighteenth Dynasty after a career as a military commander. His reign sought to restore royal authority and religious institutions after the Amarna period.

Tutankhamun: An Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh whose reign restored the worship of traditional Egyptian gods after Akhenaten’s reforms. Horemheb served under Tutankhamun and later presented himself as a restorer of his policies.
