Ichthyosporea

Ichthyosporea is a lineage of opisthokont protists that includes parasites and commensals of animals, especially fish. Its members include both unicellular and multinucleate life stages.

Opisthokonta: A major eukaryotic group that includes animals, fungi, and several protist lineages. Ichthyosporea belongs to this broad lineage, alongside animals and fungi.
