Ignatius of Loyola

Ignatius of Loyola (c. 1491–1556) was a Spanish Catholic priest who founded the Society of Jesus and wrote the Spiritual Exercises, a guide to Christian prayer and discernment.

Francis Xavier: A Spanish Jesuit missionary who helped found the Society of Jesus and preached across Asia. He was one of Ignatius’s first companions and carried the new order’s mission to Asia.
