Ingrian War

The Ingrian War was a conflict between Sweden and Russia from 1610 to 1617, fought amid Russia’s Time of Troubles and ended by the Treaty of Stolbovo.

Time of Troubles: A period of political crisis, famine, and foreign intervention in Russia from 1598 to 1613. The Russian succession crisis created the opening for Swedish intervention.
Jacob De la Gardie: A Swedish military commander who led forces in Russia during the early seventeenth century. He commanded the Swedish-led expedition that captured Novgorod in 1611.
