Inter Milan

Inter Milan, officially Football Club Internazionale Milano, is a professional football club based in Milan, Italy. Founded in 1908, it is one of the country’s most successful clubs.

1964–65 European Cup: The European Cup season won by Inter Milan after defeating Benfica in the final. Inter secured its second consecutive European Cup by winning this tournament.
Serie A: The top division of the Italian men's football league system. Inter competes in Serie A and has won the league championship many times.
Giuseppe Meazza: An Italian footballer who starred for Inter Milan and Italy during the 1920s and 1930s. Inter’s stadium bears the name of its celebrated former forward.
AC Milan: A professional football club based in Milan and Inter Milan’s city rival. The two clubs share San Siro but maintain separate histories and identities.
2009–10 Inter Milan season: The season in which Inter Milan won Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League. The treble marked the peak of José Mourinho’s celebrated Inter side.
San Siro: A football stadium in Milan shared by Inter Milan and AC Milan. It is Inter’s home ground and the setting for the Derby della Madonnina.
Helenio Herrera: An Argentine-French football manager known for leading Inter Milan to European Cup victories in the 1960s. His Inter side became synonymous with catenaccio and European success.

Nerazzurri: An Italian nickname meaning “black-and-blues,” used for teams whose colors include black and blue. The nickname comes from Inter’s traditional black-and-blue shirts.
