Interlinguistics

Interlinguistics studies international communication and planned languages, including how they are created, structured, used, and shaped by social life.

Constructed language: A language whose structures were deliberately designed rather than developed solely through ordinary historical transmission. Interlinguistics examines planned languages as a central kind of deliberately designed language.
