iPhone

The iPhone is a line of touchscreen smartphones designed and marketed by Apple. Its models run Apple’s iOS operating system and combine phone, internet, camera, and app functions.

iOS: Apple’s mobile operating system for the iPhone and other Apple devices. It manages the iPhone’s interface, apps, security, and hardware.
Steve Jobs: An American entrepreneur who co-founded Apple and led it as chief executive from 1997 to 2011. He presented the first iPhone at Macworld in January 2007.

Apple A-series: A family of system-on-chips designed by Apple for its mobile devices. These chips provide the iPhone’s computing, graphics, and increasingly neural-processing capabilities.
iPod: Apple’s portable digital music player, first introduced in 2001. The iPhone absorbed the iPod’s music-player role into a connected device.
