Irkutsk

Irkutsk is a city in southeastern Siberia, Russia, on the Angara River. It is the administrative center of Irkutsk Oblast and a major regional hub.

Irkutsk Ostrog: A Russian fort established in 1661 at the site of present-day Irkutsk. The ostrog founded the settlement from which Irkutsk developed.
