Ismailia Governorate

An administrative governorate in northeastern Egypt, centered on Ismailia and extending along part of the Suez Canal. Its territory includes land on both sides of the canal.

Ismailia: A city in northeastern Egypt on the west bank of the Suez Canal and the capital of Ismailia Governorate. The governorate takes its name from this canal-side capital.
