Ivan T. Sanderson

Ivan T. Sanderson (1911–1973) was a Scottish-American naturalist and author who popularized cryptozoology through books, broadcasts, and investigations of reported unknown animals.

Bernard Heuvelmans: A Belgian-French zoologist and author who helped establish cryptozoology as a distinct pursuit. Heuvelmans and Sanderson became leading figures in postwar cryptozoology.
