Ivy Lee

Ivy Lee was an American public relations pioneer who urged organizations to provide accurate information to the press and advised major corporations in the early twentieth century.

John D. Rockefeller Jr.: An American philanthropist and business heir who led the Rockefeller family’s public response to the 1913–1914 Colorado coal-field conflict. Lee advised Rockefeller Jr. after the Ludlow Massacre, a defining test of his approach to corporate publicity.
