James Irwin

James Irwin was an American astronaut who walked on the Moon during Apollo 15 in 1971. After leaving NASA, he founded the evangelical High Flight Foundation.

Lunar Roving Vehicle: A battery-powered vehicle used by Apollo astronauts to travel across the lunar surface. Irwin used this rover to reach geological sites beyond the landing module.
