Jan Długosz

Jan Długosz (1415–1480) was a Polish priest, diplomat, and chronicler. His Latin histories shaped later accounts of Poland and Lithuania, including the Battle of Grunwald.

Kingdom of Poland: A medieval and early modern European kingdom that existed from 1025 to 1795. Długosz served its rulers and made its past the central subject of his histories.
