Jan Tinbergen

Jan Tinbergen was a Dutch economist who pioneered econometric modeling, shared the first Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, and developed theories of economic policy.

Ragnar Frisch: A Norwegian economist who developed econometrics and shared the first Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. Frisch shared the 1969 prize with Tinbergen and helped establish econometrics as a discipline.
