Jason Robards

Jason Robards (1922–2000) was an American stage and screen actor acclaimed for interpreting Eugene O’Neill and for film roles in All the President’s Men and Julia.

All the President’s Men: A 1976 film dramatizing Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein’s investigation of the Watergate scandal. Robards won an Academy Award for playing Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee.
Eugene O’Neill: An American playwright whose expressionist dramas include The Iceman Cometh and Long Day’s Journey into Night. Robards’s performances in O’Neill plays became central to his reputation as a stage actor.
Chicago: The largest city in Illinois and a major center of American theater, commerce, and culture. Robards was born there in 1922.
